Lilly arrived at 10:53 pm (central), June 29, 2008. She is 6 lbs., 14.8 oz., and 19.5 in. long. We named her after her Great-grandmothers. She and Mommy are doing very well! [Mommy preferred that I not share on the internet the pictures that have her in them, but I will tell you that she is as beautiful as ever.]

Psalm 145:3-6 3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. 5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. 6 Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.

I dropped Jim and his family off at the airport early yesterday morning. They are headed to Romania, and then Greece, for about four weeks. In the Lord’s timing, our new intern at our church and his family will be house-sitting while the Elliff’s are away.
Jim will be preaching numerous times on this trip, and the whole family will be involved in various types of ministry, including strengthening relationships with those who are our partners in the gospel. I know they would all appreciate your prayers (Jim, Pam [the family would be lost without her!], Benjamin [Boyce college student], Bryan [headed to Boyce in the fall], and Laura).

We would be thankful for your prayers for Patty and the little girl God is knitting together in Patty’s womb. The due date is June 24. We are guessing she will be born on Father’s Day since Katie was born on Labor Day and Luke on Thanksgiving.
