Recap: Trinity Baptist Church, Vidalia, Georgia

Katie and I took off from Kansas City Friday, May 2, and arrived back home this past Monday, May 5, from Vidalia, Georgia. It was a full weekend of teaching and preaching at Trinity Baptist Church in the sweet onion capital of the world (Vidalia)–Saturday childhood conversion seminar, Sunday School teaching, Sunday morning and evening sermons–and this was particularly a special trip because this was Katie’s first time traveling with Daddy, and the host pastor is a great friend from seminary (Chris Vinson).
Katie loved meeting and playing with Eli (6), Jake (4), and Emma (2) Vinson, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time not only with the church, but also with Chris and Jessica (who is due to have their fourth baby in two weeks!). One of the highlights of the weekend was simply sitting in Chris and Jessica’s living room and conversing with them. Below are a few more pictures I took:
